All bars are custom cast, hand poured , and hand worked . Heat painting is a technique of bringing out colors in the copper using heat in a painting technique. Incredibly tricky to do correctly the end results are absolutely gorgeous. No two bars are ever exactly the same

This process is applied to the copper using high heat from torches with varying tips to bring out the natural colors from the metal . This is done after finishing and polish and can take up to 2 hours to complete correctly. There are no chemicals involved And This does not impact the purity of the metal in anyway.

Your Bar will be completely clear coated to protect finish.

Photos are examples of bars we have made. Your will be very similar in look and finish but slight variations do exist with every bar poured.

About Silver Coast Copper! The shop is located on the east coast of North Carolina just at the foot of the Outer Banks in Wilmington, North Carolina. This lower southern portion of the North Carolina coast is called the silver coast due to the silver color of the water, particularly in the early mornings just before sunrise . Any patina occurring on the copper you receive is due to natural exposure to the salt air in our area .The shop is located approximately 100 yards from the Atlantic ocean/sound and as a result The humidity carries the effects of the ocean. This is part of the natural beauty and patina of copper, however if you do not like it when it occurs you can easily be taken off with Brasso. The item is clear coated but over time this can break down.
