Silver Coast is located on the east coast of North Carolina just at the foot of the Outer Banks. Any patina occurring on the copper you receive is due to natural exposure to the salt air in our area .The shop is located approximately 100 yards from the Atlantic ocean/sound and as a result The humidity carries the effects of the ocean. This is part of the natural beauty and patina of copper, however if you do not like it when it occurs you can easily be taken off with Brasso. The item is clear coated but over time this can break down.
